Campground Rules

Ledgeview is a spot of paradise in the Adirondacks. Our travels have taken us across the country and we are always happy to return to our RV park home at Ledgeview.

For your safety and your comfort…

The rules and regulations below are for your safety, pleasure, and comfort. Anyone not observing the rules will be asked to leave the premises immediately with no refund. At Ledgeview RV Park, we want your stay to be as enjoyable as possible, and we care about your safety. If you discover something in need of repair, please don’t hesitate to bring it to our attention. Please understand that under no circumstances is management responsible for personal injury to any individual, or for loss or damage due to fire, theft, vandalism, or other causes beyond our control. We reserve the right to refuse service to anyone, and to evict without prior notice anyone who creates a disturbance or deliberately breaks any of the rules. No refund will be given under these circumstances.

Check In: May to June 30th: 1PM to 6PM; July 1st to Labor Day: 1PM to 8PM; Labor Day to Columbus Day: 1PM to 6PM. If you are running late, call us and let us know: 518-798-6621.

Check Out: Before 11:30 AM.

Speed Limit: 5 MPH enforced! Please watch for children.

For Our Guests

For the comfort of all our guests, quiet hours are in effect from 10:00 PM to 8:00 AM. No music playing is permitted after 10:00 PM.

ALL minors must be on their site by 10:00 PM.

Children: Parents are responsible for their children’s safety, behavior, and whereabouts. All small children must be supervised in the restrooms, on the playground, and at the recreation hall. No bike riding in front entrance or after dark. Ledgeview RV Park adheres to the New York State Law requiring all children 14 and under to wear a helmet while riding a bicycle.

Visitors & Hours: All guests need to be registered in the office. The fee for each person is $5.00 a day and $10.00 overnight. Visitors have until 9:30-10:00 PM to leave the park unless they are paid overnight. Please ask your guests to park in the visitor’s parking lot—not on the side of the road, on the grass, or on an adjacent site.

Pool: The pool opens late May and closes early September. Pool opens at 9:30AM. No life guards; all children under 16 need to be supervised by a parent/adult.

Prohibited at Ledgeview:

  • Carpet mats on grass sites
  • Fireworks
  • Firearms
  • Use of power tools
  • Golf carts, mini-bikes, and ATVs

Refunds: NO refunds for early departure or no-shows.

For Our Park

Campfires: Campfires must stay small and contained. No trash, bottles, or garbage PLEASE. Fire rings have been placed for everyone’s safety. Firewood is available for purchase at the office/store.

Parking: One RV and two motor vehicle allowed per site. Do not park on the grass. Additional vehicles must be parked behind the store or in storage.

Water Usage and Conservation: Our campground operates on well water. We have sufficient water for a full park under normal circumstances; however, we need your cooperation with the following: ABSOLUTELY NO HOSE WASHING OR SPRAYING OF ANY VEHICLE. Please be sure all hose connections are not leaking.

Sewer rings: Use a sewer ring to tighten, seal, and keep odors away.

Trash: Please place trash in a can nearest your site. Leave recyclables in crates next to trash can (i.e. aluminum cans, newspaper, #1 and #2 plastic and glass containers/bottles.) Please do not leave trash on the site or in the fire ring.

Positive as we aim to be, some rules must begin with “N-O.” No clotheslines - No pets - No tents – No gray water on the ground.
